Minutes of the January 18, 2005 Meeting
Inaugural Meeting of the Diva Angels Gulf Coast Chapter
Steak and Ale, Sarasota, FL
6:30PM
Marsha Wolak presided.
Marsha handed out t-shirts to anyone who did not receive one.
Meeting began with a new group picture taken outside.
National officers were announced:
President Marsha Wolak
Vice President: Susan Goslin
Treasurer/Secretary: Debra Durbin
Welcome from Marsha and reading of our mission statement.
Announcement of the 22 current members.
Applications handed out for member sign up of attendees.
Marsha read our mission statement (found on website)
Review cost of membership.
National registration required $20/year - $10 annual renewal
Local chapter fee of $15.00 per year
Membership includes Diva Angel license plate frame and chrome tire pressure gauge, which are on order.
Explanation that both the national and local chapter are set up as non-profit organization and all revenue will be used to cover administrative costs, event costs or donations to charities.
Reporting on our website www.divaangels.org Logo samples were passed out and voted on. It was agreed that everyone with any ideas were to submit them to Marsha or Susan before the next meeting at which time we will review and vote.
Nominations were taken for 12 offices. Nominations were announced one at a time with the nominees accepting or declining. Votes were then taken one office at a time until the 12 offices were filled. The results are posted on the website.
Everyone is encouraged to attend the first meeting of the Tampa Bay Chapter of Diva Angels which will be Tuesday, Jan. 25th at Quaker Steak and Lube 6:30 PM.
We have a Diva Angel Booth each Wednesday at bike night Quaker Steak & Lube.
